Created to introduce HBO Max’s Lanterns as a grounded, prestige-driven expansion of the DC universe, the campaign reframes the superhero genre through the lens of a True Detective-style crime drama. Inspired by Americana and the use of iconic, emotionally resonant music, the campaign blends DC lore with a grounded realism, positioning the series as a character-driven event that feels as human as it does heroic.
